What is Ember?

Ember is a task management app built around two simple views: Now (what you're focused on) and Next (what's important but not yet). It is designed to feel like a notes app: fast and frictionless, with real task management power underneath.

How much does Ember cost?

Ember is free to download. A paid subscription is required to use the app: $4.99/month or $44.99/year (save 25%). The yearly plan includes a free one-week trial.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, open Subscriptions, select Ember, then tap Cancel Subscription. Apple manages all billing.

Can I use Ember on multiple devices?

Yes. With a Premium subscription, your tasks sync across all your devices via your account.

How does Daily Reset work?

Every morning, unfinished tasks in Now move back to Next. This gives you a clean slate so you can intentionally pull back what is still important, with no carryover guilt.

What happens to my data if I cancel Premium?

You need an active subscription to access your data. If your subscription becomes inactive, your data is saved for up to six months.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Ember uses Convex for secure cloud sync. We do not sell or share your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What iOS version does Ember require?

Ember requires iOS 26 or later.
